This concludes our broadcast day. Goodnight.
Well it had to happen eventually. Yes, sadly I'm moving on from the world of RMS, and on to new things.
I will miss working with such a great bunch of customers. You have made the last 6 years of working with this product, such a great experience, and I'll miss working with all of you. I've built some great friendships over the years working with you on deployments, migrations, additions, and yes, even had a blast troubleshooting when things didn't go according to plan. Thanks for being patient with me, and helping me learn all of your different environments, and how we could help you by making the product better serve you. All of your feedback has made the RMS product one of the strongest roles in the Windows operating system, and I hope you will continue to challenge us to make the product even better as time goes on. Thank you for all you do. Eddie Bowers will be taking over my position, so you will be seeing his name allot. Please try not to break him. Like a new car, just break him in slowly until you start really abusing him. LOL. ;) I will post a link to Eddie's pages soon, so you can continue to follow along with any new issues, tips and tricks.
I will miss working with our awesome partners.
To the great people at GigaTrust (https://www.gigatrust.com). You guys are awesome. You build great products, you've been so much fun to work with, and I can't wait to see what you guys do with MSIPC. I know you'll continue to be great.
To all my friends at Titus (https://www.titus.com). I've enjoyed working with you, and seeing all the great products you've put out. I've had great feedback from our mutual customers on deployments you've been involved with, and you guys have the best classification system around. Your guys have really challenged me with some of these deployments, and definitely kept me on my toes. Always a pleasure getting "the call" from Titus. ;)
To the people at Foxit (https://www.foxitsoftware.com). You guys have a great PDF reader, and sharepoint solution. I enjoyed working with you on beta testing your products, and I hope you guys continue to have great success.
...and to the new guys in town...DocTrackr (https://doctrackr.com). I don't know you that well, but I've checked out your stuff, and you're looking great. Wish I had more time to dig in, and get to know you all, but you're doing a great job. Keep up the great work.
To our friends at CSS-Security (https://www.css-security.com). Keep up the great work. You guys are the deployment kings.
To the product group. You guys are the BEST. In my 15 years at Microsoft, I've never seen a product group as passionate about meeting customer needs as you. I know the products will continue to be successful because you take every customers feedback seriously, and act on that feedback to put out the best possible product that we can to meet every customers needs. I will miss working with you, but I doubt this is the last you will see of me.
I know people have had to endure my blog for so long, and there is only so much a person can take, so I will leave you with one last corny image.....
Thanks everyone,
-Jason
