Reference Assistant

A few weeks ago, several of our VSIP partners came on campus for another Dev Clinic.  One of the advantages of being in the VSIP program is one on one discussions with the product team for questions about building your Visual Studio Extensions.

I had the pleasure of meeting Darren Stokes from Concurrent Access Software and he demo'ed a great extension his company built called Reference Assistant.

Reference Assistant is a great tool for debugging and finding issues with your product.  My favorite feature is being able to see an assembly version conflict before it even happens at build time.  The conflict window shows where the potential problems are which can save a lot of time trying to debug the issue.

I highly encourage you to test out the trial edition of Reference Assistant.  It'll definiately save you a lot of time and headaches trying to debug issues with your product.
