Wikipedia editing

Short post: In the interests of full disclosure, I've started editing Wikipedia on various topics related to HD DVD. Initially I made several "anonymous" edits, but decided to create an account for transparency and so I can "watch" pages as they change.

Basically I am just posting this here so nobody "discovers" my edits in the future and claims this is some "hidden agenda" by Microsoft to "lend credibility" by faking "grass roots" spin. Whatever.

Anyway, I'll still be doing the majority of my posting ("Haha," some of you might say, "not so much lately!") on this blog. The Wikipedia editing is mostly about keeping the pages interesting, up-to-date, and accurate.

    Thanks for letting us know :)  Too bad that somewhere someone will accuse Microsoft of trying to undermine Wikipedia.  Such is the way of things :)

    As another Wikipedia editor, welcome. Perhaps a more appropriate place for "disclosure" is your Wikipedia user page.

    Hi, just stumbled across this blog while searching for information on HDi for the wikipedia article. Saw your edits there, thats really good (well, I guess I don't need to tell you that, but a little compliment won't hurt, would it? :-) ). I made an edit (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=HDi_Interactive_Format&diff=162267034&oldid=162266347) trying to clear how HDi and Advanced Content are related. Could you please verify it for correctness? Also, I would like to see the wiki article provide a little more technical info, like how the markup is structured (like playlists, menu items and which are mandatory and which are optional), the APIs that are exposed, which ECMAscript runtime is used (JScript, Jscript.NET or some new one) and such. Could you please update the article? Or if you fear backlash, you can point me to the information and I can edit the article.
