Some Wild Flying Today

Every once in a while we have an all ACES meeting to update the team on what's going on and show some demos and such. Today was such a day and I must say I had a lot of fun. Brandon and I were demoing some of his hard work flying together in multi-player from our office while the rest of the team watched from a helicopter platform on one laptop and another laptop in shared cockpit with me.

From what I heard after the fact there were smiles all around, some applause, and trash talking as well while we flew. I wish I could have heard the comments first hand, but people made a point to come by and let us know how much they enjoyed our demonstration, which was very nice to hear. I'm very proud of Brandon's handiwork and what FSX makes possible.

Hopefully in the relatively near future I'll be able to "leak" some screenshots or something for a sneak peak at what we're working on....

I think especially the 'shared' capabilities are underrated at the moment, mainly because many people balk at leaving the trusted FSHost concept and because of the current performance problem so many people seem to have. ANY 'demoes' would certainly help to bring this aspect to the attention of more simmers, IMHO :-) Francois
