Updates for Microsoft Office 2007 Help
Updates are now available for applications in the 2007 Office system. Each download replaces the Help (.HxS) files on your computer for the corresponding application. The downloads contain the latest revisions and additions to content we made based on the feedback we received from customers on Microsoft Office Online and Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN).
In addition to English, Help updates for Excel 2007 and Outlook 2007 are available in German, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
To download and install the updates, do one of the following:
· If you are using Microsoft Windows Vista, run Windows Update by clicking the Start menu, clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Update. In the Windows Update window, click View available updates, and under Office 2007, select the check box next to each set of updated Help files that you want to install.
· Search the Microsoft Office Online Downloads Home Page.
· Download updates individually, as detailed below.

Thank you for your question! I just updated the article with this: "In addition to English, Help updates for Excel 2007 and Outlook 2007 are available in German, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese." These should show up in Windows Update on computers running those language versions of Office 2007. I will post links to the actual downloads (for customers not using Windows Update) as soon as I get them. Additional languages are expected in 2009 (translation is in progress), but I don't yet have exact dates or know which languages and which applications will be available first. Thanks! Hi Andrea, thank you for your reply and updating the article. The Microsoft Downloadcenter webpage was also updated. I can now change the language of the update on the webpage. A week ago that was not possible. I downloaded the updates. Can I distribute the updates during installation by placing them in the updates-folder (as usual)? Thank you, Bruce
