clip_image001One of the cool technologies which did not get a huge mention by the press today at Mix09 today is the new capability to extend the reach of Windows Live Messenger to web sites.

Any Website can add a chat feature right into site pages. This is an elegant way to quickly add a social aspect to your site. Chat is the sort of feature that you wouldn’t build for yourself, but until today, its been hard to integrate this without the use of a separate Windows / Mac client / Web Client.
