This week here in Redmond there is a big party: TechFestSituated Interaction

Here is where the most brilliant researchers we have in Microsoft,  showcase their cutting edge stuff. In the t-shirts they’re wearing you can read “TechFest: the & in R&D”. They are coming from all the Microsoft Research’s labs around the world to present their projects.

This is the place where they show the coolest stuff they are working on, from a virtual receptionist, a new Sticky Notes in Augmented Realitycommuting experience, quantum computation, video stitching, new languages, social networking, and even hardware.
