Living in Seattle (a.k.a. Win Free Stuff)

I moved 2800 miles to take the job with Microsoft. To some that might fall in the "cons" side of the yellow legal pad, but for me it was a huge plus. The Pacific Northwest is an unbelievable place to live and play. The city is vibrant and full of life, and if the outdoors tickle your fancy, you can hike, camp, and ski until your legs give out.

The last one, skiing, is what drew me to this region. Whistler Blackcomb is less than 5 hours away. Closer to home, we have Mt. Baker, Stevens Pass, Snoqualmie, and Crystal Mountain. We get incredible amounts of snow and it's a short drive away.

I love it so much that I've started a website at https://www.cascadeskier.com. You can visit the site to find out all about what it's like to ski around here.

Hurry over because there is currently a contest to win free tickets to this year's Warren Miller movie! Your free ticket gives you a flood of deals just for showing up including lift tickets (free or 2-for-1) to Apex, Big White, Silver Star, Sun Peaks, Whistler, Crystal Mountain, and White Pass. You'll also get coupons for REI and Joe's along with a free subscription to Skiing magazine. All you have to do is follow the simple instructions to enter the contest.
