TechBash T minus one Week! May 19th

Last year, the dot NET Valley hosted its first TechBash, an all day conference of technology professionals dedicated to a deep examination of bleeding edge technology. This year is no different—only we’ll be bigger and better. I just got off the phone with Michele from Starbuck’s Dickson City, they are donating coffee, so we’ll have fresh Starbuck’s to amp us up for a day of great conversations—thanks Starbuck’s!

We’ll have some donuts and danish in the morning and we’ll be serving lunch (courtesy of Microsoft—thanks Keith!) , so no need to worry about those details.

There will be tracks for devs and IT Pros. The dev tracks will focus on development on MOSS 2007 (Sharepoint), AJAX and WPF.

The IT Pro Track will include Windows Vista, IP Telephone (Steve Barrows from Cisco will be presenting) and Longhorn Server.

I am really psyched about this, folks, and I look forward to seeing everyone there! Use the links below to register and find out more.

And check out all the fabulous prizes we’ll be raffling off, anyone need a copy of SQL 2005, Exchange and Vista Ultimate? https://techbash.com/swag/

Today's IT professionals and Developers are stuck with one of the most difficult tasks: "Keeping up with the Gateses." During TECHbash, IT professionals and developers will learn some of the latest tips and tricks of the trade as well as previewing cutting edge technology. The best part about TECHbash is that its FREE! So, you'll learn some great things and bring home some cool stuff by spending a Saturday morning with your peers. Not bad at all, eh?

TECHbash is a technical event for IT Professionals and Developers. The event is organized and delivered by .NET Valley, Northeastern Pennsylvania's only technical User Group.

At TECHbash 2007, you will have the chance to learn the latest technologies in the industry including:

  • Microsoft Exchange 2007
  • Microsoft Windows Code-Named "Longhorn"
  • IP Telephony
  • AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript)
  • SharePoint

You are correct. My post did not mention the date--I have amended that...but as far as the site goes...perhaps you should have yours checked...your sight that is. :-)

Not to be picky, but TechBash appears to be next Saturday (19-May).  I mention this because  "T-minus one Week!" implies (at least two) discrete dates, depending on the methodology used to count. It's amazing to me that almost none of the links on the .NET Valley site (or your write-up of the proceedings) contain the actual date of the event; even the registration page (on their site) doesn't include the date. Hope 2 C U there!!
