It's like an escape room for developers - Microsoft OpenHack

Do you want to learn more about developer technologies in a fun, challenging and hands-on format with access to Microsoft engineering experts?  If so, read on.....

Microsoft OpenHack is a new format of event specifically designed for developers who want to learn new skills to apply to real world challenges in their workplace.  Whether you work as a developer in a enterprise organisation, a partner organisation, at a start-up or are just getting started as a student, Microsoft OpenHack allows you to learn hands-on and side by side with experts to kick start you in the right direction with your next technology project.

Typically run over multiple days, Microsoft Openhack events are based on one overall technology.  Examples could be Containers, Machine Learning/Computer Vision, Data/IOT or Dev Ops.  You will be joined by up to 150 like-minded techhies, but will work in groups of 4 or 5 developers. You will be presented with a series of code challenges that are solved during the hack (just like an escape room – here’s what you are trying to do, here are some clues, figure it out!). Throughout the challenges, Microsoft experts are by your side, ensuring you can make progress if you get stuck.  Not only are Open Hack events a great opportunity to learn cool new things and meet some great people, you are also likely to have fun from start to finish.
