OCS Launch - Task Complete, Exchange Unplugged Tour 2007 - In Progress
Last week saw the culmination of months of work by a lot of people at Microsoft resulting in the Office Communications Server Launch event.
So far the feedback from the event has been really good with the attendees commenting we had a good mix of business and technical content. As a person from a technical background in marketing, its great to hear that people thought the combination of the both was just right. This combined with the OCS launch press event and a significant presence at IP07 resulted in a huge week for Microsoft UK and Unified Communications.
The question I get asked quite a lot now is 'So what are you doing with all your spare time now OCS is launched'? Well in a moment of momentary madness, I sat down with the technical UC team at Microsoft and we all agreed to run something called Exchange Unplugged Tour 2007.
Our first event is tomorrow .... errr .... today in fact as I look at the clock on my PC. We are visiting the Tate Modern with BT and will be talking about Exchange 2007, SP1, Windows Mobile and Office Communications Server and that's just the start. Out of the frying pan and into the fryer as they say ;-).
Look forward to seeing you all over the next few weeks, the tour details can be found at https://www.microsoft.com/uk/technet/unplugged/default.mspx. I am not going to be attending all of the events myself but if you manage to come along, say hello to me and hand me your business card and I will see if I can send you some goodies in the post :-)
