Hi, great to see you, come straight in!   Sorry about the mess, just moved in and there's still stuff everywhere, but I promise I'll have it all tidy in a few weeks.

It's a big day today, I am about to finish backing up my current system (HP EliteBook 8540w) and install Windows 8 CP onto it, now that it's been out a few days.   I love this HP system, it's been a warhorse for the past couple of years and I'm interested to see how smooth the installation experience is going to be.   I'm sure that like every new installation there will be some teething problems, and I'll share all of these with you later today in a second post.   Hopefully, anything I find and fix can be of some use to someone out there.
