Hi Kerrey,          I am facing this error while I am running a script to enable the recieve location the scrit runs without any error but I dont see the recieve locatons getting enabled. Disable script however runs fine and has the desired effect. You have written about some configurtion change can u elaborate it a little more. Regards Abir

Mostly,it's a credential issue Please right click host instance and check which user you are using. For remote issue, you must check SSO, because all configuration for Adapters are stored in SSO.

I have the same problem. I am using a group for host and a user which is in this group for the host instance. Both group and user is the administrator of the machine. Is anyone has the same problem?

I'm trying to enable and disable a host instance and meeting the same problem. The script runs fine and when I check the status of the host instance (using 'IsDisabled') it says it was disabled before and then enabled. However, when I check the status of the host instance in BizTalk Administration console it is still disabled. I can still start/stop the host instance using a script successfully - I just cannot enable or disable it.

In my case none of these tips worked while troubleshooting my teammates test projec at my new job. It turns out that looking at the host instances revealed that the servers are clustered sitting on the same MessgeBox DB. Error was reported on Server A. On the server B with which issues weren't reported as it was not physically used for testing the local physical Receive location the binding pointed to did not exist. Once I created the folder on server B and logged in to server A, I was able to enable the Receive location.
