Threepeat
Today is the third anniversary of my first blog post. A whole lot has happened (and been blogged) in those years, including events such as:
- I changed jobs
- I started the Exchange blog (2 million hits a month later...)
- I helped release the custom quota service & its source
- I got Larry Osterman to blog (note to self: nagging works!)
- Six months later, I changed jobs again
- Nine months later, I changed jobs again again
- I had a baby
- ...and a whole lot of stuff between.
Side note: Sheesh, I've been in this job for 13 months. <wiping dust off shoulders> Seems like it's time for a change... :-)
And yikes, looking at my "by month" archive, I used to post every single day. Have I run out of things to say, or time in which to say them?
Some of my favorite posts & most useful/popular tips and tricks from over the years:
- Natural language parsing in Outlook
- Giving custom names to the colored flags in Outlook 2003
- A macro to warn you if you send a mail mentioning the word 'attach' without attaching a file
- A history of/rambling about attachment security in Outlook: Part 1 Part 2
- Poor man's mail merge
- Add a keyboard shortcut key to empty the junk email folder
- A macro to create a task from email(s)
- Don't fat finger the send button
- Add links with spaces in them to email
- Prevent reply all for Outlook users
- URL parameters in OWA
- Talked about why we don't like to give out ship dates
- Add a link that goes directly to the middle of a word doc
- Stop IE from opening up Office documents inline
- Talked about feature packs vs service packs
- Get at items in the dumpster that were deleted via IMAP, or in OWA
- MOOWA April Foo's Day Theme (I pity the foo who deploys this one)
Ahh, that was fun. Man, time flies.

Ankur - near as I can tell, that error is just as descriptive as it says... are you sure the files exist in the specified location and aren't locked by some other app? One thing I do sometimes is try running the code in normal VB instead of VBA because it has better debugging tools in the IDE.Anonymous
