New OWA themes in SP1: Zune & Xbox!
As I mentioned a couple months ago, we have been working on two new OWA themes. I was secretive then because I wasn't sure if we'd be able to ship them in SP1 or not, but thanks to the hard work of several designers and developers we got them in. And with the release of Exchange 2007 SP1 Beta 2, we're ready to say what they are: Xbox and Zune!
Here's a preview:
We still have a few bugs we're working through (such as changing the importance and flag icons back to red in the xbox theme because color is so important for those glyphs), but they have been deployed in dogfood for several thousand users for several weeks now and look pretty rock-solid.
And let me tell you... theming in OWA 2007 is amazing. You can theme just about anything. We're currently investigating if the xbox team will let us use their sounds so that we can theme the new mail or reminder sounds. :-)

How about the ability to choose themes via parameters in the URL. Is this possible? This would come in very handy for people wanting to render OWA in a portal.Anonymous

tmarshall - it's not possible today and not currently planned but it is something we've discussed and will continue to think about going forward.
