Windows SDK Beta 2 - so far so good
If there ever was a time to keeep our metaphorical fingers crossed, this is it. Sice the Windows SDK went live last Tuesday, over 11,000 users have downloaded it from the Download Center site. And so far only a very small handful of setup issues have come through. A few of you have trouble downloading the ISO, for which we recommend you use a download manager. Others have downloaded corrupt versions of the ISO that do not pass the CRC check. But that's why we have the CRC check in place.
But so far none of the actual setup issues that were frequently reported in previous releases are happening. You guys seem to be setting up your Windows SDK installs without too many problems at this point.
Is that true? Are you having success? If not, we want to know. Please leave a note in the comments or send me mail.

Worked good for me... although I'm still hoping that the 1.0 in the default install path becomes 6.0 ;-) - Anonymous

Just today we changed the path from v1.0 to v6.0. It'll be in the June CTP. - Anonymous
