Tech·Ed 2005 Europe

The last 22 months I have been involved in a project for creating a Financial Terminal on Windows XP and a middleware on BizTalk 2004 for a spanish bank. It has been far away from my home in Madrid. It has been really absorving, but seems that has finished with 500 branchs working with the new system. Probably I will post about some lessons learned and design trade-offs we had on the project.

So, after some time -about 14 months- without blogging I will start again with the Tech·Ed 2005 Europe. I did the same, in spanish, for the PDC 2003. The agenda for this Tech·Ed looks great, with great speakers like Gregor Hohpe, Clemens Vasters, Ron Jacobs, Ingo Rammer or Rafal Lukawiecki. I plan to focus on the architecture track, on SOA, VS 2005, VSTS and BTS 2006.

I will start tomorrow morning, the preconference day, with the Architecure Boot Camp for Building Connected Systems, with Arvindra Sehmi and Beat Schwedler.

And what's about agile? Last year there was some noise about it, TDD, unit-testing and so on...
