“…At Least There May Be Bacon.”
Today I’m going to be at an offsite with a bunch of other managers from the VS team. When I was younger, I always looked forward to offsites as an opportunity to learn something, to play around, and (really) to take a day off from work. As I’ve gotten older, offsites have taken on a different meaning – a slightly different set of four walls, a slightly different set of Microsoft employees, and the opportunity to demonstrate my poor penmanship on those large paper easels. On the upside, at least may be bacon.

Oh come on: are you trying to tell me that you don't look forward to offsites for the food? I mean, BACON -- I almost never eat that at home. This morning I got five pieces. Made my whole day.
And yes, I'm easily amused. - Anonymous
