Silverlight powers next generation mobile shopping experience for The Home Shopping Network

The Nokia S60 is a software platform for mobile phones that runs on Symbian OS and is currently one of the most-used mobile platforms in the world. Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform implementation of the .NET Framework for building media experiences and rich interactive applications (RIAs) for the Web.
Smooth Streaming enables adaptive streaming of media to Silverlight and other clients over HTTP. Smooth Streaming provides a high-quality viewing experience that scales massively on content distribution networks, making true HD 1080p media experiences a reality.
The ability to detect and adapt to varying bandwidth changes when streaming video content (especially live video) is an extremely powerful feature and becomes even more crucial in the mobile space – which is easily one of the toughest environments for streaming video content.
