The MSDN WebCasts I would like to watch in July
Every month around this time I receive an email with the subject line "Upcoming Microsoft Webcasts..." I usually browse through the list, occasionally register for a few of the webcasts, and rarely attend. While I probably won't have the bandwidth to attend any of the MSDN webcasts in July, I thought I would at least share my picks with you:

Andi Comisioneru , Senior Program Manager, Microsoft Corporation
In today's cost-conscious environment, IT professionals must ensure the reliable operation of an increasing number of client computers. To help these computers operate smoothly, Task Scheduler in Windows Vista greatly expands on the Scheduled Tasks tool in previous versions of Windows, providing the flexibility IT professionals need to automate common administrative tasks reliably and securely. Join this webcast to learn how Task Scheduler enables standard programs such as backup, virus scanning, cleanup, and disk defragmentation software to run predictably and reliably. Find out how Task Scheduler can be used to perform an action or sequence of actions based on an event occurrence, making proactive, ad hoc system management possible. We also show how to configure a task to notify an IT professional of a problem by e-mail, or to launch a diagnostic program or an automated resolution.
