Lost your laptop at the airport? You’re not alone!

Came across this interesting article in ComputerWorld that says that in the US alone, more than 10,000 laptops go missing every week! I’ll be watching mine closely whilst I’m travelling in July – I recommend you do the same. 

The funny thing in the article is that most people are too ashamed to report that they have lost their laptop!

CIOs are scared about hearing these stories from their staff because of the risk of losing intellectual property and company secrets.  Technologies like Bitlocker help to prevent this information falling into the wrong hands.
