The Weekly Wrap - MVMC 2.0, Windows 8.1 Update and MORE....
Howdy everyone!
One of the main pieces of information I wanted to share this week is the Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter team publishing version 2.0. This release is packed with new features, including; migration of VMs directly to Microsoft Azure, conversion of both Windows and Linux and the removal of VMware tools. To read the official blog post or to provide any feedback on the release, visit the Server & Tools Blog.
With the announcement of the Windows 8.1 Update, there have been some scaly questions coming in from IT Pros. Below are some of the common questions we are seeing and some resources that may help;
- How do I remove the automatically pinned Windows Store app from the taskbar after applying Windows 8.1 Update? visit the blog post
- How do I reset devices back to boot to the Start screen after applying the Windows 8.1 Update? visit the blog post
- Do I need to install the new Windows ADK for Windows 8.1 Update to be able to deploy Windows 8.1 Update images? visit the blog post
