I'm behind...

The last few weeks have been the definition of busy for me.  Getting beta 1 out the door hasn't exactly been a relaxed process and there's a bunch of other stuff going on at the same time.  But the beta is finally out.  Express SKUs are finally out.  The MSDN feedback site is finally out and we're already seeing great feedback, bugs, and suggestions coming in.  All is good though I'm (as are many others) a bit tired. 

Blogging has definitely taken a back seat to the real work lately.  Not just posting but reading.  I have ~1,000 unread entries and I doubt I'll ever actually get through them all without some mass “mark-as-read” activity. 

I'm really looking forward to this weekend as my wife and I will be heading over to Leavenworth with absolutely nothing to do except for sleeping, eating, reading (finally going to read Ender's Game), and walking around completely lacking direction.  I might even try to get through some of those unread blog entries but not sure that's a smart thing to do. 

Oh, and of course, I'll definitely be listening to some Avril and reading up on the latest on the Olsen twins.  Thanks Eric, I'll get you back bro...

    You know, you can download an unabridged audio book of Enders Game from audible.com. A roadtrip is the perfect venue for an audio book, I find the miles really zip by with something to occupy my brain.

    If you are determined to read rather than listen to Enders Game I can recommend Oryx & Crake by Margaret Atwood. This is the audible book that my wife and I did on our last trip to Seattle.

    Yep, I'm definitely going to read Ender's Game as I already have the book and all. I've never tried an audible book but it sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion (both on audible books and the Atwood book).
