Fiddler and localhost

I would like to share a really useful trick if you need to use Fiddler with a website running on the localhost (i.e. ASP.NET Developer Server or Cassini). Open-mouthed

Fiddler will not recognize your address in this form…

…but it will work if you replace “localhost” with “ipv4.fiddler”!

    You can also - as I saw this being done at TechEd last month change localhost: to localhost.: A little less typing ;)
