Hello World!

Hello World!

My name is Gil Raviv. I am a Senior Program Manager in Excel team.

In the past two years we have integrated the Power Query technology into Excel 2016 Preview. You can download Office 2016 Preview from here, and find it in the new Get & Transform group inside the Data ribbon.

In this blog I will share with you exciting scenarios of data transformations, tips and tricks to gain more with Excel, and possible workarounds for known issues.

Before we start, I highly recommend you watch two videos from Microsoft Ignite here and here, to learn more what's new for Business Analytics in Visualizations in Excel 2016 Preview.

For those of you who are new to the new Queries in Excel 2016 and Power Query in Excel 2010/2013 - Start here

Let's have fun :)

Well... Good, Great, More Good, Even Greater, bigger gooder greater, {insert more} ...
Data Explorer, Powerquery, Power Query, Get & Transform - all those changes in just a little bit over 2 years.

Is there anyone in the marketing who realizes that anything written on the matter of this technology in the past 2 years is kind of a lost ?
Are there any ideas about the potential consistency breach?

    I am definitely disappointed.
