Donation of Microsoft software for non-profit charities’ computers
Microsoft Community Affairs group has a donation program for U.S. based nonprofit organizations. If your non-profit organization meets the guidelines as described at https://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/citizenship, visit our nonprofit partner TechSoup at https://www.techsoup.org, to walk through the process for requesting and receiving software from Microsoft. While there is no membership fee to access TechSoup, there is a small administrative fee for each order. Also the non-profit is limited to one donation per year.
If your nonprofit does not meet Microsoft’s eligibility guidelines, or if they need to request additional software, Microsoft has a Charity Open License program available. Charity Open License allows nonprofit organizations to purchase Microsoft software and licenses at a substantially reduced cost. For information on this program, please visit Microsoft’s Charity Open License Web Site at https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/programs/open/opencharity.asp.
