What a cool idea?
If the electrical power in your area is prone to outages and you own a Prius, what do you do?
You set it up so you can power your house from the Prius when the power goes out.

My office mate did a similar thing. When he moved into a new apartment on a Friday the power company told him he wouldn't have power until the following Monday. He went downstairs and verified that the breaker was off. Then he hacked togther a reversed plug and plugged his apartment into the battery side of his UPS.
Obviously you wouldn't want to power your appliances that way but he was able to run his interior lights and the ceiling fan worked just fine. - Anonymous
