Microsoft Powershell Command Creation Tool for SharePoint 2010 & Office 365
Microsoft have launch an online tool that allows IT Administrators to visually assemble commands in the browser and then take those commands to their respective products.
Windows PowerShell is a command-line scripting tool that provides an administrator full access to applicable application programming interfaces (APIs).
Administrators can use Windows PowerShell to interact directly with SharePoint-based web applications, site collections, sites, lists, and much more.
I sometimes forget a PowerShell Command if i have not used it in a while so to have the ability to quickly get the code i was trying to think of without have to look around google is a pretty handy tool to have by my side.
I do think that Microsoft will also gain some further interest in something like if they also made it work for other products such as Exchange 2010.
The PowerShell Command Builder currently works with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Foundation and Office 365.
Click Here to go to PowerShell Command Builder
Select the Verb and Nouns and then drag them into the correct box on the right handside, the command will then appear in the box below for you to then copy and insert into your PowerShell Command Box.
Enjoy! :-)
