Microsoft have now released the latest updates for Lync Server 2013, which some of us have been waiting for now!

Please remember that if you run these updates via Windows Update that you need to run the following to install the Database Update

Lync Server 2013 Standard Edition
Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn SE.FQDN -Verbose

his update is required on the following server roles:

  • Lync Server 2013 – Standard Edition Server
  • Lync Server 2013 – Enterprise Edition – Front End Server and Back End Server
