The Microsoft virtualization platform has been getting rave reviews since the release of Windows Server 2012 and Hyper-V version 3. We will focus on some of these technologies to help you get up to speed but we will be respectful of other players in the field and help those that already understand those technologies get up to speed quickly by explaining in terms they will likely understand. You can expect these posts to be very positive and looking forward and not beating up the competition in any way. This series is about helping you get up to speed, not tooting the Microsoft horn.

As we go through this series, we will help you overcome any challenges you may have in introducing another hypervisor into your organization as well as managing your entire virtualization infrastructure regardless of vendor or technology.
