Security Wednesday Launching in November 2005

With the upcoming release of Visual Studio.Net 2005 there has been substantial changes made to the Services and controls in the .Net Framwork 2.0 especially around Security.  Therefore, starting November 9th, every Wednesday til November 30th, 2005 I will be co-presenting with Bill Baldasti (Microsoft MVP) with InfusionDev.  The theme for the month of November will be ASP.Net 2.0 Security. 

These sessions will offer a few slides and with demonstration.  The first session will cover some of the most common hacking techniques and the countermeasures to these techniques, in the second session will explore the Membership and Role provider to best control Authorization and Authentication.  In the third session will take a look at the difference between Impersonalization and Delegation, as well as how to encrypt information in the WebConfig such connectionstrings and other key information.  Finally, in fourth session we will discuss how to put all the information together to Architect Intranet and Entranet applications.
