Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0 Beta 1 is now available
I know…for all of you who came up to our booths at TechEd 2009 last week, why didn’t we say something? Honestly, they didn’t tell us until the end of the last day. Go figure.
For all you MSDN users, Beta 1 is available to you today. To non-MSDN subscribers, it will be made available on Wednesday.
Here’s the brief announcement about it and you can visit the VS 2010 product page for more details.
As soon as finish wading through all the email messages I received during TechEd, I’ll start posting some more information about the beta. The new Test Edition and TFS features alone should be compelling enough for you to check out this Beta.
But like all Betas, please be careful when installing this on a machine with production data. Back up everything, make sure the backup works, and backup often.
Excelsior!
