Installing Update Rollup 2 for System Center 2012 Service Manager (KB2719827)

First download the two Winzip Self-Extractor files the 32bit and the 64bit from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30410

Run as administrator 64bit on the 64bit SCSM server, SCSM DW server and SCSM Portal server.

 

Accept the EULA and click on Install

 

When the install finishes sucessfully it looks like this:

 

 

Click on the Open the Setup Log on the right side of the final install screen.

It will open the Setup log file for you.

The final lines of my Setup log file are as follows:

06:41:40:ApplyQuickFixEngineering: Return value was 0.   Check the log at C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp\SCSM2012_CU_KB2719827_AMD64_7.5.1561.106.msp.1.log for more detailed information.

The same procedure applies for when running on additional Management Servers and on the Management Servers of the DW Management Group.

Use the 32bit package if you running the console on a Windows Vista 32bit or Windows 7 32Bit .
