    We are very concerned about the the deployment requirements, the need to install SQL Server on every developer machine could be a serious show stoper for many customers. Will this be the case with RTM?

    This is a requirement. However, for RTM, we are relaxing our requirement for requiring the dev edition of SQL Server. That is, we will support SQL Express. But please understand that enterprise features that SQL Express does not support will not be supported in the project system within DBPro. However, if you aren't using those features, this shouldn't be a problem.
