Don't Talk To Me

Is the message when you wear your earphones of your zune/ipod/iphone. Its kinda isolates you from the outer world because you are busy. As our culture get modernized we are losing human integration between us. I went to grocery store the other day and used self-check out. I didn’t need to talk to anyone , even that small talk with the cashier, it was not there and needed. We are in a world you can literally survive without physically interacting with anyone. I wanted to say except work but even that you can make money without talking or physically interacting with people. Technology is separating us apart from each other. At first the only way to communicate was by physically be in the same location, then telephone was invented(I skip the letter history) and now we use email, the degree of interaction drops with technology. I recently read a user study report which says people find email more convenient than using a phone and definitely more convenient than meeting physically. As technology evolve the degree we interact with people changes and decreases. Don’t you think this is a problem ?
