Arranged by: Conversation
I get a reasonable amount of email each day. Not a lot, about a hundred or two each day (sometimes a lot more).
I don't know why I did it, but a few years ago I tried arranging my email by "Conversation" and I really didn't like it. I much preferred to have all emails shown in their exact date/time order regardless of conversation. So, up until about a week ago I hadn't even tried it again. Over the last week I've been converting almost every single folder over to "Arranged by: Conversation". I don't know what's happen over the last few years ... but I really like the Conversation view now! Maybe it's the type of email I get. Maybe it's because I actually get conversations now! :)
If you just get one off emails, like announcements, then Conversation sorting probably isn't going to help you much. But if you're on a few interactive mailing lists or distribution lists (DLs) then I think you'll find it an excellent way of sinking back into the context of a conversation when new mail arrives.
I can't believe it took me so long to try this again! :)

I think I can help you reach higher numbers since I email our team quite a bit. Either that or you will be bombarded by Messenger toasts. :-) - Anonymous
