- In his blog post "The Last Mile for Open Data", Nik Garkusha writes "Whether through the momentum created by open data communities, activists, municipalities, or developer communities, help from industry players like Microsoft, or combination of all of the above -- the open data application ecosystem will develop and flourish. The idea of a shared code repositories for open data apps is not a matter of "if", but of "when".
