Boston Windows 8 Meetup Kicks off October 9
Windows 8 general availability is less than three weeks away! Next Tuesday, October 9th, Boston Windows 8 App Developers and IT Group will kick off the software season at the new Microsoft offices at 1 Cambridge Center, Cambridge MA. This is a great event for app developers, IT professionals, or anyone interested in learning more about Windows 8.
At the event you’ll hear from Chris Bowen, Principal Developer Evangelist for Microsoft, who works with the developer communities in the New England and upstate New York areas. You’ll also hear from the organizer of the group, Steve Hall, who has great ideas to share on various aspects of the Windows 8 ecosystem - from the nuts-and-bolts of development, to business opportunities, monetization schemes, and the role of Windows 8 in the enterprise.
