Congrats to Josh Ledgard, and the rest of the teams! (especially the MSCOM Communites team):
" https://forums.microsoft.com/msdn !!! Beaten to my own stories again. You can be sure that I'll have more to say on this later. At the moment I'm actually still working to fix an issue with a demo video I did for our internal mail. Apparently not all codecs are created equal. :-) "

It's looking good, BUT: what's wrong with newsgroups. If I'm not mistaken there are newsgroups for all of the different forums - so where should I now look for answers and, even more importantly, where should I spend my time answering questions? - Anonymous

Are there plans to integrate other forums (like asp.net or windowsforms.net) into MSDN forums? That way we would have a one-stop solution for all our developing needs. - Anonymous

Could you please explain the relationship of these forums to the newsgroups? Are they another way to access the same news groups? If not, are they intended to replace newsgroups?
For an advanced user, newsgroups are far superior to a web interface. I can download thousands of posts, scanning rapidly to see what I want to respond to. For a novice user, I can see the advance of a web interface. - Anonymous

Good questions, thanks. I have copy and pasted these to the forum itself so others (more enlightened than myself) can help answer/join in. Also, other users with similiar questions might find answers more readliy.
