Devart Releases New Entity Framework Provider

Devart recently announced that they’ve released an updated version of their provider that works with Entity Framework 4.0.  New features include DDL generation, better LINQ to Entities support, and improved support for canonical functions.  Finally, it also includes T4 templates that work with EF’s Model First capability.  For more information, check out their blog post at https://www.devart.com/blogs/dotconnect/?p=2062.

    EF should support other database officially.(oracleoledb(specially access).......). Third Party is instable. Just like System.Data.Oledb;System.Data.OracleClient. Else   No Hope

    I concurr, Oracle doesn't seem up to providing a stable MySQL connector, every release gets worse and I seriously doubt their testing methodology.

    Oracle's MySQL Connector has still lots of bugs on very basic functionalities. I am wasting my time to find workarounds.When we are getting a new version of connector  to solve a problem, we are facing a new problem. Actually the problem is not only on their testing methodology, there are still lots of major open issues on their bug database..
