Microsoft ships the most secure OS

Symantec reports that MSFT fared better than apple and other copetitors (including Red Hat) in providing the most secure OS. Read a nice summary here. Since this comes from a MSFT competitor (in another market) and a leading security software vendor, it makes it all the more credible.

I was pleasantly surprised.

The correct conclusion would be: Microsoft is the fastest company to fix security issues. MS had 12 hig priority or severe vulnerabilities, Red hat had two and Apple only one. I can't say that Windows "the most secure OS". MS is the better fixer, no doubt. It sounds to me that Apple is the most secure OS, but they're not as fast to fix their problems.
