Every time I connect a new usb device to the laptop it doesn't recognize it automatically. Simple usb devices (like wired mouse, wired keyboard and so on). Every time this happens, I have to go to the device manager and update manually.

    Hello,

This issue can be caused if any of the following situations exist:

The currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or corrupt.
Your PC requires an update for issues that may conflict with a USB external hard drive and Windows.
Windows may be missing other important updates hardware or software issues.
Your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt.
Your external drive may be entering selective suspend.
Your PC motherboard may need updated drivers.

Try to do a safe reboot and this will help to install pending updates - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-your-pc-in-safe-mode-in-windows-92c27cff-db89-8644-1ce4-b3e5e56fe234

Please try to install all the Windows and driver updates and try again.
select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If updates are available, install them

If Windows 10 can't recognize new USB devices automatically, try restarting your PC and reconnecting the device. Update USB drivers through Device Manager and check for Windows updates. You can also try a different USB port or test the device on another computer to rule out hardware issues. And Windows 10 keys can be obtained at partners Microsoft’s like h-ypestkey
