[MSDN Redirect] Web app norwayeast

Hi. I am trying to create a web app on norwayeast, but I get 'Operation failed: Unsupported location: norwayeast'. It clearly says web apps are supported on norwayeast, so what's the issue?

    The problem was that it tried to create a new Application Insights at the same time, which is not available in norwayeast region yet. When disabling monitoring the web app was created without error.

    @ Thor1985, Welcome to Microsoft Q&A! I understand the frustration with this scenario, apologies for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

    I have test deployed the WebApp in Norway East region and the deployment was successful. Could you please let us know what Azure subscription are you using? If feasible, just try to re-deploy a new WebApp with a lower/basic App Service Plan in Norway region and kindly let us know the status.

    I'm also discussing on this issue internally with the product team and will post back with any latest updates.

    It may be that your subscription is not setup to use that region, if that is the case you will need to raise a support request to get that enabled.
