Sharing PDF documents on Microsoft Teams

Good morning! I have a question. Lately, I've been playing around with Microsoft Teams to familiarize myself with the program. Recently, I went into one of my classes that I created so I could practice sharing my PDF document. I tried over and over to share the doc as though I was teaching my students, but it never worked for me. On the screen, it stated that I could only share PowerPoint files. What could I possibly be doing wrong? Please advise.

I have the same problem - surely teams would let you share whatever is on your screen during a call (like similar products do) but no pdfs are blocked. Ridiculous.

    Hi!

How did you share your PDF in Microsoft Teams? Using screen share or upload files to the channel?

Based on my knowledge, when you share screen in the meeting and click the browse, you can only upload PowerPoint File in the meeting and it is not support other format of files. If you want to share PDF files to your student, you’d better share files in the Teams channel and invite your student to your Teams channel. For more details, you can refer to:
