Attempted deployment of Domain Service failed and now stuck in deploying state

Question

I attempted to deploy an Azure Domain Services instance against my domain following this guide yesterday. The deployment failed after about 2 hours with a time out. I tried to clean up the deployment by deleting it but that seems to have run off and I am left with the service in a state that it believes it is still attempting the deployment when looking at it from the Azure console.

This was a net new setup in a new Azure account setup just before the deployment, and with that, I created a new resource group and allowed the deployment to default all the network recommendations.

I am kind of stuck and not sure how to proceed.

Derek got back to say that the issue resolved itself, though it is unclear what changed.
