I looked through the requirements and supported OS list for the VS2015, and checked that Windows 11 is not on the list.
Moreover, when installing, "a setup package is either missing or damaged" error shows.
However, I am in a circumstance that VS2015 is essential along with the Windows 11, so wanted to make sure if it's completly impossible to use VS2015 on Windows 11 or not.
There isn't much information about Windows 11 and VS 2015, so I had to ask in this place.
It will be helpful if I get the official answer for the question "Does Windows 11 support Visual Studio 2015?"

You can use Visual Studio 2015 on Windows 11.
Our system requirements provide the minimum requirements. Thus, our policy has been that a given version of Visual Studio is supported on later version of Windows under the implicit Windows compatibility promise.

So in the end, how do I install vs2015 on windows 11?

FWIW, I see the same problem when installing on Windows 11 using Visual Studio 2017 Professional.
Despite seeing this every time an update is installed or if I change the installed components, I've not yet found an issue when using the IDE.

I have the same requirement to run VS 2015 in Windows 11. Have tried to download VS 2015 but, download page says the edition is not available. Any help would be appreciated.
