Unable to connect Azure Kinect Camera

My Azure Kinect is unable to connect to any of my computers.

My current machine is an AMD Ryzen 5900x on a ROG Strix x570-E Gaming motherboard. In device manager when I plug it in I see I have AMD USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller. But the devices show up as "Unknown USB Device (Invalid Configuration Descriptor)"

I have tried multiple USB cables and multiple USB ports. I even tried a PCI USB card, however it looks like according to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/Kinect-dk/troubleshooting#usb3-host-controller-compatibility only Windows, Intel, Texas Instruments (TI), and Renesas are compatible. However, there are multiple reports on GitHub of AMD boards working.

The device is connected to the power "brick" that came in the box. And once plugged in the light on the back flashes white.

I tried it on my past machine which was an Intel 7700k on a MSI Z270 Gaming M5 motherboard. While I don't have screenshots of the device manager, I suffered the same issue of not being able to connect.

It suffers the same issue when connected to my Surface Book 1.

I've tried multiple cables, multiple power bricks, and multiple PCs. I'm starting to think it's the device itself. But I'm really hoping it's not. Any help would be appreciated, I really need this camera to start working.
