I am having very weird kernel exceptions when displaying downloaded 4K pictures using the Image control. It works well with standard 1080p ones.
Are there any 3rd party controls for this same purpose?

Could you please share the code snippet about how you use the Image control? It would be very helpful if you could share a 4K picture with us for a test on our side with the code you are using. Also, would you mind to tell us what's the detailed exception message and the OS version of your device? You could update your post and share the information with us.

Please extract files in Pictures.zip to Pictures folder. The SeaFireflies picture causes the kernel exception, the other 2 files work well.
Below is the screenshot of the exception I get when I debug the app. Please note that there is NO specific error code. When I run the Release build, the app just vanishes.
I could not produce your issue on my side, All the images could be shown correctly including the seafire image when I run your sample. May I know the OS version of your device?
Here is the result of my test:
My development system is a VMware VM. Windows version is 10.0.19041.450 (just applied Auguest update).
I create a new VM. It's OS version is 19041. But the app still runs correctly. Could you please try your code in other devices?
I tested on another VirtualBox VM, it works. It seems the system in VMware VM is corrupt, that's really strange.
It turns out that this is a specific problem of VMware software. I installed a new Windows 10 VM and have exactly the same exception. VirtualBox is free of this 'bug', see my last comment.
