How to get Quick Notes from OneNote on Desktop?

I'm using OneNote 2016 in Windows 10 Enterprise

When I create a Quick Note (New Quick Note, or Windows + N), everything is fine: OneNote puts it on my desktop and I can move it around at will. However, once I close OneNote and/or shutdown my computer, all of my Quick Notes are sucked into OneNote and thereafter only visible as "pages" inside the OneNote application.

How can I pull them out of OneNote and put them on my desktop again?

I tried using Always on Top, but that does not pull the Quick Notes out.

    Hi,

OneNote is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

You can ask the experts in the dedicated OneNote forum over here:

It's not available behavior to restore Quick Notes to Desktop, but you can create a Docked Window as a workaround:

I suggest you give a feedback about this problem to OneNote UserVoice forum, this is a way for Microsoft collect information and feedback from users.
