Activation of Windows via KMS for the machines not connected to the network.

Question

During this covid period number of our users had to take their devices (Laptops/Tablets/Computers) at home. Some of these users do not have VPN or any other source to directly connect into our network. They have now started getting the Windows Activation error as their devices cannot connect to the KMS server for windows activation. We currently have our KMS machine in Azure and it is not public facing at the moment. So, could you please suggest a solution or this problem of Windows activation on the devices which are not able to connect to the KMS machine ?

You can active windows using a product key.
